Who Do You Go To For Advice?

posted by IntrinsicBent

Reports have it that Alex Rodriguez sought out the advice of Berkshire Hathaway guru and billionaire Warren Buffett during his brief but tumultuous free agency period.

I'm pretty sure that call went something like this:

Buffett: Hello?

A-Rod: Hello, may I speak with Buffett?

Buffett: That's me.

A-Rod: Hi, I'm Alex Rodriguez and you are one of the few people that has more money than I do. I left the Yankees and I feel so lonely and confused. What should I do?

Buffett: "It's those changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes nothing remains quite the same. With all of our running and all of our cunning,If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane."

A-Rod: Aww man, did I accidentally call Jimmy Buffett?

So A-Rod had to go all the way to Omaha for a Cheeseburger in Paradise?
Wow Daddy Buffett is some kind of guy! What kind of friends can you get, when you are #2.
